Answer: The one we carry has the black on the tip of the spout and on the handle to turn the faucet on and off. -

Answer: The DWS1000 will not remove Nitrates. But he Aquapure APRO5500 will remove nitrates from the water.I hope this helps. Thank you. -

anyone measure the total dissolved solids (tds) output with a tds meter?
Answer: Our tds is 126. I think it started at 140. -

I assume the cartridges and tubing are plastic, so the water sits in and passes through plastic before you drink it?
Answer: Yep, and there is no comment on the presence or absence of BPA. Something more to think about: most city water towers are made of steel and lined with plastic.... -

What is the difference between the AP-DWS1000LF System and the AP-DWS1000 System (both use the same filter cartridges)?
Answer: The AP – DWS 1000 system comes with the Fossett whereas the AP – DWS 1000 LF is less the Fossett. -

Answer: Sorry, I don't know the answer to that. I do know that our water tastes much better. -

Answer: They are two different systems, ...one with faucet, one without. - j -
