The basketball hoop has a telescoping height adjustment that ranges from 7.5 to 10 feet. It has a 2.75-inch round main support pole and is adult-sized with a shatterproof Fusion backboard. The rim is orange in color, and it can be used both indoors and outdoors. The assembly manual lists the basic tools required for assembly, including a 1/2" wrench and a 7/16" wrench, along with 280 pounds of sand or water, a funnel, a hose, a block of wood, and both flathead and Philips head screwdrivers. Sand is recommended for the base, and it is heavy when filled with sand or water, so it may not be easily portable. It is ideal for outdoor use but is also suitable for indoor if space permits.
