Frontier Co-op Organic Ceylon Cinnamon is sourced from Sri Lanka, but may also be cultivated in Seychelles and Madagascar. The product is certified organic, fair trade, a non-irradiated strain of Cinnamomum Verum (“true Ceylon cinnamon”). Its flavor is excellent with a light sweetness and an almost citrus-like note. However, the potency may not be overwhelming, depending on your preference. One user suggested mixing a half teaspoon in a half cup of boiling water until the temperature drops to 100 degrees Celsius, then adding a teaspoon of honey and filling the cup with warm water. The product may be paler in color than its counterparts, but its taste is flavorful and exceptional. While the product's benefits are not noticed by all users. The cinnamon is packaged in the USA in plastic bags, which some customers find inconvenient due to spraying, which may result from damaged packaging during delivery.
