Answer: If your device has a micro USB port, then it will work. I had an S7, and it in fact, had a micro USB port. -

Will this cord work with an Echo Dot?
Answer: It is supposed to be a high-speed charging cable, but when I connect it to my Kindle, I get a message that it is a slow charger. I am sending them back tomorrow. -

How well does the micro connector hold up over time? My kids tend to pull cords out and the heads get bent and broken.
Answer: These cords are of higher quality than previous generic cords. The micro end is stronger and has a better connection. They should last many times longer than others, although they are not indestructible. -

Answer: This cable has a USB-C connector. I am not familiar with the JBL Flip3. -

Answer: I have had this one for a month, and my last braided cord lasted two years before breaking. So, it has a good track record. -
