The top loop has a thickness of .46 while the bottom thickness is .050. The inside of the edging is smooth, but it has a rounded top and a small half v-shaped lip at the bottom to prevent it from being pulled straight out. However, it might not be the best option for those who need to form a perfect oval-shaped raised bed as it is not flexible enough. Additionally, it is challenging to form a good perimeter as the thin section is too flexible, and the thick section is too stiff. Some customers found it hard to install as it is shipped and stored coiled-up, causing it to kink up/twist/deform while trying to stake it to the ground.
