Could this be used on a hex/allen key to provide more leverage?
Answer: If we are talking about a hex/Allen socket providing it's 1/2-inch drive, great. But if you are wanting to put it into an Allen head bolt or Allen hole, you will probably rip the hex out and end up with a bigger problem. The torque you can get from this bar is fantastic. Happy hunting! -

Hi, is this bar strong enough to loosen the wheel bearing on a VW Golf? It's under 200Nm torque.

Hi, is this a genuine Sealey tool? Some reviews suggest otherwise. Is this what I need to use with an impact socket for really stiff bolts? Thanks.
Answer: I have never had to question its authenticity. I have used it to undo tightened nuts and get a better purchase to tighten nuts that are on chemfixed studding, it has done the job every time and is still in my toolbox. Generally, I will use impact 1/2 inch drive sockets with this tool. To torque set nuts, I will use a calibrated Sealey torque wrench and set it to the torque required. Hope this helps. -
