The Extech EX330 Autoranging Mini Multimeter is a great investment for hobbyists, homeowners and professionals. It has a lot of functions and is a great buy for the price. Though it takes some time to display correct readings, it appears to be very accurate with the delay not really impacting functionality. It is accurate, durable and easy to use. One reviewer said it is one of the best meters he has ever owned. Another said that it's an excellent value for a quality meter. However, the meter is very slow to process readings which makes it inconvenient for real life work situations, although it's fine for bench testing. The backlight is also not very user friendly. There is a defect in some pieces where it has a tendency to fry and melt the inside battery holder. In general, it is better suited for limited use and tight budgets.
