    Answer: There is no template. One user popped out the center and outlined the inside to cut the hole a little larger.

    Answer: The door opening on mine is 13.5 inches with excess or flange of 1 11/16 inches. This should cover a 14 3/4 inch hole with around 1/2 inch around the sides.

    Answer: No, this panel is not waterproof and only has limited sealing.

    Answer: The back has no ribs, but it has some indentations. There is a warning not to use it where fire and or high heat may be present.

    Answer: No, the door is made of 1/8 inch thick plastic and pops into the frame which is also made of the same material.
