    Answer: EpiDerm Natural is made with a Lycra (Spandex) soft fabric liner that is designed to act as a protective and visual barrier between the silicone sheet and clothing. This material is not SPF-treated.
  • Question: I still have a small scab on my scar. Can the strip be used over a small scab?

    Answer: Epi-Derm Long Strips are 1.4 x 11.5 in but may be cut and trimmed for a more customized fit. We recommend applying silicone sheeting on fully healed skin.
  • Question: How long do you need to wear?

    Answer: I believe the suggested wear time is no less than 12 hours per day and 6 months of treatment. The Epi-derm long strips look like they may last me four months or more.
  • Question: How long can they be reused?

    Answer: Yes, there is a backing to remove. Remove, wash, and reapply twice daily. Each strip lasts approximately 1-2 weeks, depending on application area and care. Do not use with creams. Thank you!
  • Question: Nutural or clear, which is longer lasting?

    Answer: I think natural is more durable. It lasts about 2 weeks.
