Sphagnum Moss is a good quality product used mainly by orchid growers, reptile lovers, and those interested in terrariums. The moss is durable, long-lasting, and has great moisture retention abilities, perfect for plants that need air on their roots. It is clean and has very few sticks or other debris, making it perfect for display items and starting cuttings. It is also excellent for potting nepenthes. The moss is pricey but has been almost impossible to find quality long-fibered sphagnum moss anywhere. In general, it is a good purchase, but the moss should be sterilized before use, as it could carry pests, as experienced by someone who bought it to house a tarantula.
