Retro-Bit Gamepads & Standard Controllers RET00244 Editorial Review
Retro-Bit Legacy16 2.4GHz Wireless Controller for SNES & More (Onyx) offers gamers a nostalgic experience combined with modern features. Users have praised the excellent D-Pad which doesn't register false diagonals, a significant advantage over competitors like 8bitDo. The buttons, reminiscent of the North American SNES controller, provide a familiar feel, ideal for classic 2D games. The onboard Switch Button Mapping software allows players to customize controls, essential for those utilizing claw-grip techniques. While some might find the lack of rumble, NFC, and motion controls a downside, the robust performance in retro gaming settings makes it a top choice for collectors and enthusiasts.
