The earrings are great for ears; the rubber is around the back piece, but the post isn't suitable for lip piercings and it doesn't have gold tone. These earrings are fantastic and took less than 48 hours to arrive. People who have used these did not find screw back earrings convenient but managed to use the push-on backings because the stems are a little longer than average. One happy customer got more than they expected but in a good way because the material used was super resistant and they use it all the time.
