Answer: Strange. I can't find my accessories right now, but I'm sure the diffuser cap that came with mine is white. No idea why the pictures show it as green. -

Answer: Doesn't have memory. It starts at the lowest, then low, then high. And double up on the twist you have the flashing mode. -

Does this truly put out 180 lumens? Some reviewers state it’s realistically closer to 100 lumens. Does it true put out 50 lumens and for 4 hours?
Answer: Dunno the number of lumens this nice flashlight puts out, but whatever it is, it's been adequate for all the uses I've needed it for. Seems to be good quality, and works just fine, and I'm glad I bought two, actually, for the two pairs of Carhartt pants I usually wear. Give 'em a try; I don't think you'll be disappointed. -
Question:
Why does the diffuser cap turn green after a short use led and then white again?
Answer: I suspect it's like the luminous dial on watches. There might be some material in the cap. Just a guess, tho. -

Is the lens made of glass?
Answer: Sounds and looks like the lens is hard plastic to me. As the lens end does not come apart it is difficult to verify. However, the lens looks to be too thin to be glass.
