Darn Tough Vermont Socks 8019 Editorial Review
The Darn Tough Men's RFL Thermolite OTC Ultra-Lightweight Ski and Snowboard Sock Style 8019 offers a great experience for snowboarding. One customer mentioned that they had tried shorter socks from Darn Tough and didn't find them suitable for snowboarding, but they had no issues with these socks. The socks kept their feet dry and warm even after hours of snowboarding. The length of the socks was also appreciated, as they were able to wear knee pads without any issues. However, some customers mentioned that these socks are thin and not very warm outside of boots. They experienced snow getting into their boots, which made it obvious that there was snow in their boots. Although the snow dried quickly and their feet returned to normal temperatures quickly, it is suggested to use snow pants if snow gets into the boots often. It is also worth noting that these socks are vegan as they are made of synthetic materials, not wool. In terms of durability, there was one customer who experienced a hole in the sock after wearing it only three times. However, the warranty department was quick to respond and agreed to reimburse the customer's shipping costs and ship a replacement pair. It remains to be seen how long the replacement pair will last, but overall Darn Tough seems to have good customer service.
