DEWALT Scroll Saw Accessories DW7881 Editorial Review
The DEWALT DW7881 Scroll Saw Work Light is a useful accessory for scroll saw users who need better lighting while working. The light is easy to install and can be adjusted to provide light where it is needed the most. It comes with a 25-watt mini flood lamp that gives off plenty of light, but it can get hot, so caution is advised. Some customers have reported that the light drifts a little at times, but overall, it stays positioned well for most users. The light is designed to be mounted directly to the scroll saw using the same screws that hold the saw in place. While most customers are happy with the light and find it helpful, there are some mixed reviews. One customer mentioned that the quality of the light is not up to par, and the socket size is difficult to reach. They also noted that the included bulb produces subpar light and recommended switching to an LED bulb. Overall, the DEWALT DW7881 Scroll Saw Work Light is a useful addition to a scroll saw, providing sufficient lighting for detailed woodworking tasks. However, potential buyers should be aware of the mixed reviews regarding the quality and the included bulb.
