The Women's PreCip Eco Jacket by Marmot is a decent quality rain jacket with a zip-up hood that cannot be detached but can be rolled up and zipped into the collar. The hood has a drawcord to tighten around the face and dual cords on both sides of the face to tighten the hood around your head. It is breathable and suitable for running daily errands in the town and can be worn during hiking trips under nonstop rain. However, you may need to open the ventilation zippers located under each arm for extra comfort. According to reviews, the jacket seems to be of decent quality and kept most users dry during rainy hikes. However, the jacket does have a few notable Cons. The feminine cut of the jacket at the waist makes getting into the pockets uncomfortable, and the sleeves are too skinny for layering underneath, making it difficult to comfortably bend the elbows. Additionally, the sizing seems to be smaller than expected, and the jacket is not meant for sustained wear in heavy rain.
