The Evans E-Ring Pack includes dampening rings of various sizes which can be placed on top of your drum heads to control overtones and ring. They are not very thick but they fit the size they say, as one customer confirmed. They also come in a box which is an advantage over cheaper versions which are folded and creased in an envelope. The E-Ring pack is versatile and can be used across all genres of music including jazz, blues and rock. When used, they produce a good sound which customers generally found helpful in terms of dampening drum overtones. One customer even claimed that if you didn't spend at least $5000 on your drums, these will make them sound like you did. However, some customers found that the dampening was minimal, but still better than playing without the rings. Overall, the Evans E-Ring Pack is an effective and easy-to-use solution for managing excessive ring and overtones on your drums.
