  • Question: Will it cut through an 8mm steel rod?

    Answer: Mine could get jaws wide enough for an m10 bolt but did not have the capacity to bite into it.
  • Question: Do you have to undo any bolts? I cannot seem to open the cutting blades.

    Answer: No, I didn't have to do anything to it. You just move the handles from side to side.
  • Question: What is the maximum diameter cutting size? I need to cut through galvanized steel 3.5mm. Are these suitable?

    Answer: If they are mild steel bars, they should be OK. If you have a lot to cut, it might be better to buy the ones with the longer handles.
