The Epson Home Cinema 3800 is a projector that features a projector bulb that can be replaced with an EPSON ELPLP85 REPLACEMENT LAMP. It requires the closest placement of 12ft 11inches (assuming ceiling mount) and maximum zoom to project on a 135-inch screen, and it supports 100 to 240 VAC. It can even project a 200-inch screen. The 3200 model has a remote control button to adjust the image on the screen, and the Epson 3800 can be mounted with the chief rpau universal projector ceiling mount. Most customers praise the Epson 3800's high-quality picture, black colours, and realistic colours that still look great even with a lot of ambient light. The projector has a good frame rate and the remote controls other items to play videos. A customer received a refurbished model that showed signs of wear and tear, with blurry images, and was missing the instruction manual and batteries. One customer experienced poor fan noise and unacceptable uneven focus from side to side, despite an improvement in brightness and contrast, while another upgraded to the 5050 for better blacks, contrast, sharpness, and noise. A first-time user of projectors found it to be of good value for money, but it only has a 3.5mm port for audio out, so it needs a 4k HDMI earc splitter to connect Sonos.
