Answer: I needed the 5 steps to get closer to the top of my bed. It's perfect. The foam interior is sturdy and supportive. The fleece adds a nice soft grip. Should work well--just check if you need 3 steps or 5 steps. -

Does this require a lot of assembly?
Answer: It came assembled with the cover on it. It actually is made as one piece. I am very happy with it. I have a small dog. -

Is this only for pets can it be as a step for adults
Answer: It is just for pets. -

Covers-where do we order new covers?
Answer: I don't know where you'd purchase one. I sew, so when it needs another cover, I'll just use the old one as a pattern and sew a new one. -

Where can I order replacement covers?
Answer: I don’t know. I believe they’re washable. -

is this suitable for 70 lb dog?
Answer: My 56 pound dog uses it even though I bought it for my 22 lb dog. This is a relatively small item in width so maybe one bought for a 70 lb dog would be wider -
Question:
I have a 75 pound Pitbull that's starting to get arthritis would this work for him?
Answer: Unfortunately these steps are soft and not supportive. My German Shepard cannot use them, they just squish under their weight. :(
