Are the swivel hooks of good enough quality to not unhook themselves?
Answer: They are very well designed and have no protruding parts that might catch anything to unhook themselves. I have had one of these straps for 8+ years and haven't had any issues with the hooks. -

Is it easy to adjust the length while it is on your shoulder?
Answer: Not really. It's better if you take if off your shoulder and adjust it to your liking before you use the camera. -
Question:
If I planned on attaching the swivel hooks to the actual camera body itself, would it be secure enough to not unhook itself?
Answer: Not a problem. I have a Pentax K-3 and K-5 and it has become a permanent fixture. I never liked the included branded strap from any camera brand and prefer to use the Domke instead. Have been a follower of their products since the 80s. -

Can the part attached to the camera be removed easily?
Answer: It fastens securely, and will not slip off or come off accidentally. You can however, remove it by hand, much as you would take a key off a key ring (only smaller). Excellent strap - use it on all my cameras.

Once adjusted, the excellent strap does not slip off the shoulder during regular photographic use, thanks to the woven-in rubber traction strips. There is no worry about it twisting due to the swivels, and the fabric is flexible enough to conform to the neck when worn that way. In summary, the Domke 1-Inch Web Strap with Swivel is a reliable and comfortable camera strap, and users have trusted and used it for decades.
