It is compatible with Windows 10/8/7 / Vista / XP, Mac OS X (10.x or above), Linux and is also backward compatible with USB 2.0 connections. It features a 5V 2A power supply, which is enough to power multiple devices at the same time. Self-powered devices such as external HDDs should be connected to the included power supply. The hub can be used with small USB devices, such as a mouse, keyboard and flash disk, without being connected to the power supply. The LED indicators are located on the front and the center positive and the barrel negative. Although there is no built-in fan, some people might not like the LEDs, which can be covered with electrical tape if needed.
