  • Question: How well does it work with the 1911? Is it good for barrel link and pin installation on the 1911?

    Answer: Yes, it's good for 1911 or clone and good for Glock.
  • Question: Will this work for a Springfield XDS9 for disassembly?

    Answer: There are just a few features of this block that are very specific to the M1911. This block should be very useful for complete disassembly of any firearm that requires drifting pins out, steadying the slide or frame to work on attached parts, etc. It's way better than a 2x4 with a few holes drilled in it.

    Answer: I don't know. It doesn't say.
  • Question: What country is this product made?

    Answer: China
  • Question: Has anyone tried using this on a Sig Sauer P226 or P220?

    Answer: It's mainly designed for the 1911 but I have used it with other pistol slides and such. So I don't see why not, try it and see if it works. Good luck!!
  • Question: How wide is the slot for holding a slide? Will it accommodate the width of a Glock 30 slide (.45 caliber) which is wider than a standard 1911 slide?

    Answer: This block was specifically designed for the 1911!!
  • Question: Is the product safe?

    Answer: Any product used within their specifications is safe. I have used this for a long time and wear my safety glasses so I have no issue.
  • Question: Can I use this for the removal of an AR front sight block?

    Answer: Yes, you can. I have used several times to remove AR front sights but made for pistol works great on ARs.
  • Question: Does anyone else have a discoloration pattern in the center on both sides? Doesn't impede function, but doesn't look 'right'. It's not residue.

    Answer: Mine doesn't, but if yours works I wouldn't worry about it.
