Rub 'n Buff The Original Wax Metallic Finish Silver Leaf is a pack of 3 tubes designed for adding a metallic finish to non-porous objects such as picture frames, mirror frames, light fixtures and ornamentals. From the FAQ, it is learned that the product is not dishwasher safe, thus should not be used for items that require to be washed. The product did not work on a brass-colored faucet and shower head to change it to silver, which might have been due to the lacquer finish. Although the Consistency of the product should be a paste, a customer received a runny product from a recent order, but managed to thicken the product by squeezing the tube and mixing the liquid with the thicker paint.
